5. Gold-Dipped Nike Dunks – $5,405
If you want a shinny looks from head to toe, these are the right shoes for you. Yes, they are exactly what they seem to be, a pair of custom-made 24k gold dipped Nike Dunk High sneakers.
They were created by designer Kenneth Courtney for Nike and they are part of a Nike Limited Edition 24 Carat Gold shoes.
I don’t know how wearable they are, but I guess you can buy a pair if you want a brilliant outfit, for real!
4. Autographed Kobe Air Zoom – $30,000
These are part of a limited collection of 25 pairs that were signed by Kobe Bryant. They wanted the lightest, most low cut basketball sneaker possible without sacrificing support.
The shoes incorporated attributes that helped Bryant’s game, including the pronounced outrigger for stability and support and a carbon fiber midfoot shank to increase spring.
3. Nike Air Force One – $50,000
Rapper Big Boi decided to combine his passion for jewelry and sneakers and created the Air Force 1 sneakers.
They are encrusted with an 11-carat champagne diamond and you can find them at a boutique in Atlanta called Laced Up.
2. Autographed Nike Air Jordan 1 – $60,000
Everyone went crazy when a pair of Air Jordan 1 sneakers was autographed by Jordan himself and then placed on an eBay auction.
The Air Jordan 1 collection was released in 1985 kicking off not only the greatest legacy in sneakers, but also the greatest legacy in basketball history.
1. Michael Jordan Worn Air Jordan 12 – $104,765
Michael Jordan wore this pair of sneakers during his famous “Flu Game” and autographed them afterwards.
Preston Truman, a 35-year-old former Jazz ball boy, auctioned off the autographed pair of sneakers for more than $104,000.
Jordan signed both of the Size 13 shoes, and the lot includes Jordan’s black game socks, too. For a fan, that’s a big deal. And a big price, of course.
