When soccer managers are looking to build a team, they look for only the best to hire. It is normal that those best to have the highest salaries.
So we looked around the world and ranked the top 10 Richest Soccer Players in the World 2017! Here’s the list:
10- Frank Lampard: €80m ($86.84 million)
The English professional soccer player is a midfielder for the New York City FC, and the all-time leading goalscorer for Chelsea.
He has been with Chelsea for 13 years, and made 164 consecutive Premier League appearances, a record for an outfield player.
He began his career at West Ham United and in the 1997-1998 season, he managed to secure a place in the first team. And the following year, helped the team finish 5th in the Premier League.
Lampard then moved to rival London club Chelsea, for a transfer that cost the team 11 million pounds.
In 2015, after 13 years of being with Chelsea, he has been released. Then joined New York City FC on a two-year deal, but he would play for Manchester City in the meantime.
