Strawberry Hills is a Jamaican hotel located in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica.
Owned by Chris Blackwell, a philanthropist and entertainment entrepreneur who founded several famous companies, the retreat is everything you were looking for.
Named after its former owner, Horace Walpole who discovered that the property’s elevation was ideal for growing strawberries and named it property ‘Strawberry Hills’.
The property is centered around the restaurant with a number of villas, walking paths and a large central infinity pool.
There have been a number of celebrities that have stayed at Strawberry Hill as both a property and a hotel. Among the famous people who have visited Strawberry Hill are Bob Marley and Admiral Lord Nelson.

The founder, Chris Blackwell purchased the 26-acre property in 1972 as a salon for friends, but it didn’t become the first Island Outpost hotel until 1994.
And if you are looking for an intimate place, the resort offers plenty of intimacy and privacy, with just 12 cottages on more than 26 acres.
The 19th-century Georgian style cottages range from well-appointed mahogany-accented studio suites, each with canopied four-poster beds with heated mattresses, to a four-bedroom, two-story house built into the hillside.
As with all the Island Outpost properties there is a refreshing lack of corporate uniformity, and the blend of friendly staff, first class spa, musical history and relaxed surroundings works well.
Strawberry Hills also has the features of a larger property such as an expansive spa, a breezy restaurant and bar, a hilltop pool with panoramic vistas, lush gardens, and plenty of relaxation spaces.
