14. Terrorist Attacks
This is not new. And unfortunately, 2016 didn’t want to be left out by other years in this matter. There were several terrorist attacks happened in 2016. The first one reported in January 15th. Twenty eight people were killed and more than fifty other were injured during an attack by Islamist militants in a hotel of Burkina Faso.
Then in March 25th, a football match in Iskandariya was attacked by a suicide bomber. ISIS claimed to be responsible for the death of thirty people.
And airports were threatened around the world when two attacks took place in Brussels and Istanbul. On March 22nd, thirty five people were killed in three-coordinated suicide bombings in Brussels subway and airport. And the one in Istanbul took the life out of forty people and injured more than two hundred. That was in June 28th.
