Cult shoe designer Manolo Blahnik has designed, in partnership with Four Seasons Milano, special slippers.
The luxury slippers are a reason to celebrate the launch of Manolo Blahnik’s “The Art of Shoes” show.
The Italian shoe designer created a pair of slippers for guests of the hotel, exclusively.
A pair of these special slippers will be a gift for guests booking Four Seasons’ Manolo Blahnik Package at the hotel.
They aren’t just any slippers; Manolo Blahnik’s slippers are a limited-edition collector’s item, made in Milan.
The special slippers are made of deep blue velvet and satin with golden embroidered motifs.
Lucky guests will benefice from this amazing collaboration as well as have privileged access to the nearby exhibition dedicated to Manolo Blahnik, located at Palazzo Morando, until 9 April.
This unique collection shines a light on the artist’s career through a display of Blannik’s favorite 200 pairs of shoes from the early ‘70s to modern day.
This section also includes the collection of Marie Antoinette shoes that Blahnik designed for Sofia Coppola’s film Marie Antoinette, as well as 80 original drawings.
After all this time, Blahnik still makes a trip to the factories in Milan every season for a few weeks to personally bring to life every collection, always staying at Four Seasons Hotel Milan.
Now the collection makes a lot of sense, does it?
All the shoes he designs are based on his sketches, which are translated into prototypes at the factories.
“Shoes help transform a woman,” the artist says.
