Here is Everything You Need to Know About the $2,000 Balenciaga Ikea Bag knockoff!
In here we will talk about everything you need to know about the $2,000 Balenciaga Ikea bag knockoff!
You see the brands like H&M and Zara copying looks from the Paris and New York runways, but you didn’t expect that Balenciaga will steal as well.
They draw their inspiration from the iconic blue bag from Ikea, so practically they didn’t steal from the runways.
The French fashion label, which is famous of its luxurious, fashion-forward design, has released a new bag, and it has already got the internet talking.
Everyone is mocking their new bag because it looks like the big blue carryalls you can get at Ikea.
Called the Arena Extra-Large Shopping tote, the bag even has the same blinding blue color and the same short handles.
Plus, it comes in “wrinkled, glazed leather”, which looks like the Ikea bag’s crinkly material.
The handy recyclable bag from Ikea became such a staple at the furniture retailer that it’s sold in multiple sizes and receives an almost perfect rating in reviews on Ikea’s website with many users gushing about how often they use the versatile product at home.
There is, however, a difference between the two bags. Balenciaga’s tote bag to the cheap Swedish design is priced around $2,145, which is s lot more than Ikea’s 99 cent bag.
There is also a black version that costs US$1,765 on the company’s website.
What did Ikea have to say about all these? The company doesn’t seem to mind and told Today magazine that it was: “We are deeply flattered that the Balenciaga tote bag resembles the Ikea iconic sustainable blue bag for 99 cents. Nothing beats the versatility of a great big blue bag!”
Here is what Twitter had to say about it!
