Since August 2015, my friend and I tried something which we believe has never been done before : arranging tiles of thousands of agate stone to get an oil painting like picture.
We did collect many kinds of agate stone from various places in Indonesia, then we shaped them small squares.
The most difficult parts is finding and matching stones which have suitable colors to create an image, without our being able to edit the colors for sure.
After 8 months of hard work we finally succeeded arranging tiles of agate stones to create the image of our former leader.
We are still half way to the completion but we did get the image of eyes, nose, mouth and chin…we believe this is the first of its kind.
