This coffee machine is an engineering masterpiece that was created by mixing art and function.
Espresso Veloce’s bespoke artworks are hand-crafted by the best people in a limited numbers precision machined from solid billets in a high-end facility.
Made from solid billet aluminum alloy, titanium alloy and super alloys just like the ones used in high specification Grand Prix engines. Their creations are half-scale versions of the engines that powered Grand Prix car over the last three decades of motorsport.
To manufacture a coffee machine, Espresso Veloce uses over 260 stainless steel fasteners to form the complex design of this Grand Prix engine.
“Once the engine casing is assembled an internal tank is placed into position and coupled to a high pressure, vibrating pump. This pump feeds an inline heat exchanger passing the boiling water through an array of pipes into the capsule-type group head. Volumetric control by a programmable electronic brain then delivers the perfect espresso at an optimal 22 bar pressure.”
Finally the individually numbered Arte Meccanica plaque is affixed to the masterpiece and its creator, Paolo Mastrogiuseppe, signs the unit’s Certificate of Authenticity before it is crated for delivery to its lucky owner.
Their atelier offers custom color mixes for each machine, making it easier the creation of unique and timeless art pieces.
From a palette of six cooler colors, you can chose whatever color works for you to be virtually applied on any part of the machine through an anodizing process.
Color customizations are limited to the Titanio Series with the Carbonio Nero being crafted in a motorsport-grade jet black finish with the cam covers and base plate in authentic thermoset carbon fiber.
