Eric Clapton’s Former Venice Beach House Looks Like Heaven

Eric Clapton’s Former Venice Beach House is an Absolutely Getaway Gem

Eric Clapton’s Former Venice Beach House looks exactly like your next home! All for $5.5 million!

Eric’s former home is on the market for $5.5 million, according to press releases.

The house of the famous English rock and blues artist is also the only home in the US designed by the Arata Isozaki.

The architect of Los Angeles’ Museum of Contemporary Art has designed this beautiful home we all fell for.

The 2,946-square-foot estate boasts a spacious grand room, with 30-foot ceilings that lead to the family room and guest bedroom with a wet bar.

The house features a 600-square-foot patio that greets you at the geometric-inspired, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home. The patio has a lot of light thanks to the large skylights.

The second floor boasts an office space, kitchen, dining room as well as a master bedroom with 20-foot ceilings.

The third bedroom has views of the kitchen and dining room.

Where you can find it?

The beautiful home, once owned by musician Eric Clapton, located just a short stroll away from California’s famous Venice Beach.

“Situated one block from the mellow end of [California’s] Venice Beach, it made a perfect bachelor pad and I loved it,” Clapton wrote in his autobiography.

But after getting serious with future wife Melia McEnery and “giving in to homesickness”, the couple decided to head back to England.

The musician purchased the three-bedroom property in the late 1990s, and sold it in 2004.

Its current owner, Stephen Meadows says that an unreleased 12-minute solo classical guitar instrumental recording that Clapton left in the stereo is also part of the deal.

“It’s part of the home’s history,” Meadows said.

Stephen Meadows bought the house for $1.5 million, according to public records. Josh Altman, Matt Altman, and Juliette Hohnen of Douglas Elliman Real Estate hold the listing.

According to the listing:

The gated/secure and very private residence offers 30 ft ceilings in the grand room and 20 ft ceilings in the master bedroom.

The second floor looks out over the grand room and offers a kitchen, dining for 10+ people, master bedroom, gorgeous master bathroom, walk in closet, and ocean views.

The home also has a loft bed space and stunning 600 sq. ft. very private patio for entertaining.

The architectural one of a kind home offer the best of everything including a Garland professional range, high speed internet, surround sound and built in security system. Parking for four cars.

Now, if you find $5.5 million in your bank account, you can purchase the house. Would you do it?
