This £57 million Eco-Friendly Yacht Can Travel From Australia to Europe with 1 Fuel Stop

The £57 million Eco-friendly yacht can take you from your home in Australia to any city in Europe.

Built by the Australian superyacht Silveryachts, this 77 meter motor yacht is called Silverfast.

The yacht first met the public at the builder’s yard in Henderson, Australia. Its designer, Espen Øino, was in attendance for the launch.

According to the presentation, Espen was the mastermind behind the new yacht’s distinctive silver hull color, which sets the boat apart from others.

Silverfast is notable for its slim beam, sleep appearance and nice exterior lines. The company promises excellent fuel efficiency, ocean-crossing ranges and fast speeds.

This luxurious yacht is believed to be able to travel from Australia to Europe, for example, in 21 days without stopping once to refuel.

The yacht range is 4,500 nautical miles at 18 knots and upwards to 6,000 nautical miles at 14 knots while it can still hit a decent top speed of 29 knots.

Silverfast is capable of transatlantic crossing at a 22 knots cruising speed, all powered by its twin MTU engines.

Built from aluminium, the yacht can fit 16 guests in ample staterooms, including an apartment-style owner’s suite with a lounge and private outdoor living area.

Plus, if you are into sauna and stuff like that, let me tell you that this yacht also features a customized sauna and eight-person spa tub, all built to let you relax within its amenities found on board.

This sailing ship follows the footsteps of her previous slim-hulled brothers and sisters, including the award-winning Semaralda, whose fast ocean-going performance is well-documented.

Sea trials are due to take place in April and the interior will be ready by the end of April. Delivery is scheduled for mid-May 2015.

The super yacht was designed for the billionaires and it has a twist. It is designed for eco-friendliness while still providing all of the luxuries associated with a vessel that costs over $90 million.

The yacht has nine cabins in total with two additional smaller berths. The master cabin is located on the top deck, while the remaining eight (of which five are double and three are twin) are located on the lower levels.

The Silverfast includes a sea level “beach club” with a gym, spa, eight-person Jacuzzi, and bar, all of which are accompanied by trained staff.

The interior of the boat resembles a mansion with multiple seating areas, kitchens and TVs abound.

The entire decor is chosen by Andreas Holnburger to be “fresh and luxurious.” The biggest sailing ship is also a great yacht, don’t you think?

What do you think? Would you like to go from point A to point B in this yacht?
