Anthony Padilla is an American YouTube personality and comedian and his current net worth is $15 million.
One half of the comedy duo Smosh, Anthony’s best friend is Ian (the other half of Smosh), and together they own Smosh Productions.
Born in Sacramento Anthony currently lives in California. At the age of two, his parents broke up. He has two brothers, one of which we know is named Mathew.
He went to Del Campo High School in Fair Oaks, California where he met his long-time friend Ian Hecox.
Upon graduating, both went to American River in Sacramento, California but dropped out after two years.
People see him as the mature and smart half of Smosh as he often knows more about everything than Ian does.
In 2002 he built a website, smosh.com, and posted some Flash animations. That’s when all began.
The name Smosh came from an incident where he said ‘a smosh pit’ instead of a mosh pit.
In 2005 the two made a YouTube channel and started sharing videos of them lip syncing the theme songs to Mortal Kombat and Power Rangers.
They did not intend to post the videos on YouTube but after they shared them with some friends, they decided to set up an account.
One of their videos, “Pokemon Theme Music Video” became the most-viewed video of all of YouTube in 2005. Until they deleted it due to copyright noticed it held that title.
Upon the success of the Pokemon video Smosh got to be featured in the “Person of the Year: You” issue of Time Magazine in 2006.
Their YouTube channel is currently one of the most subscribed channels. Held the title of the most subscribed three separate times through the years.
Anthony is also a producer of some series such as Ask Charlie, Smosh Pit Weekly, El Smosh and many more.
Today he is in a relationship with Miel Breadouw, whom he started dating in 2015.
