Frank Sinatra Net Worth: How rich is Frank Sinatra? & How much money is Frank Sinatra worth? Time to find out!

Frank Sinatra, an  American singer, actor, and producer  has died but  his current net worth is $220 million.

Natalina “Dolly” Garaventa, the wife of Antonio Martino Sinatra, gave birth to their only child, Francis Albert Sinatra in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Because of some injuries he suffered at birth, his perforated ear drum remained for life.

Growing up, his mother used to give him money and bought expensive clothes for him, as a result people described him as the best-dressed kid in the neighborhood.

He used to be a small and thin kid growing up, but started developing later, which became a staple of jokes during stage shows.

Sinatra became interested in music, particularly big band jazz, at a young age. His inspiration became Gene Austin, Russ Colombo and Bob Eberly, and loved Bing Crosby.

At his 15th birthday his uncle gave him a ukulele which he started to play at family gatherings.

He went to David E. Rue Jr. High School and A.J. Demarest High School, where he arranged bands for school dances.

Frank dropped out after only 47 days without graduating. To please his mother he attended Drake Business Schools, but dropped out after 11 months.

He started working as a delivery boy at a newspaper, a job his mother found him. A few others followed before he started performing in local Hoboken social clubs.

He even started singing for free on radio stations. While in New York he found jobs singing for hot meals or for cigarettes.

To improve his speech, he started taking lessons from vocal coach John Quinlan. Quinlan became one of the first people who noticed his impressive vocal range.

As a teenager he started singing professionally by playing by ear, and ever learned to read music.

His breakthrough came in 1935 when his mother talked with a local singing group, the 3 Flashes, to let him join.

The group had an audition for a major show and he asked them to let him in on the act. Thanks to Sinatra the group became famous as the Hoboken Four, and passed the audition to appear on the Major Bowes Amateur Hour Show.

For the appearance, each earned $12.50. They got 40,000 votes and also won the first prize, a six-moth contract to perform on stage and radio.

Shortly after he became the lead singer, and started attracting the most attention from most girls.

Because of the popularity of the band, Bowes kept asking them to return.

A few years later he found a job as a singing waiter at a roadhouse in New Jersey.

Despite making so little money, he felt this gig as the break he waited for, and started telling everyone that he would become a star.

In 1939, while performing at an audition and record Our Love, his first solo recording, bandleader, Harry James, offered him a two-year contract of $75 a week.

Thanks to James’ band, Sinatra released his first commercial record From the Bottom of My Heart, the same year.

After the song performed so well, they kept releasing other records through 1939.

Thanks to his vocal training, Sinatra could now sing two tones higher, and developed a repertoire which included songs such as “My Buddy”, and many others.

Sinatra died with his wife at his side in Los Angeles on May 14, 1998, aged 82, after a heart attack.
