10Jamboree
We begin our top list with Jamboree, located at Place Reial, 17. The venue is one of the few cultural facilities in the country, and it is the best place where you can enjoy live jazz.
Four years ago, Jamboree received the Mas i Mas Gold Medal for Artistic Merit.
In 1994 the Association of Jazz Musicians of Catalonia and the SGAE named it the best jazz club for its work in support of quality music.
The club is also specialized in blues, funk and hip hop. It received positive reviews, such as: ‘I went in on a Thursday night, the place was packed around 2:00 AM. The music is lovely and the crowd is awesome. You can’t really have a conversation though unless your hips know how to talk.’
