In 1987, she became the CEO of Ann Summers and transformed it into a multi-million pound business, with sales comprising more than 7,500 women party organizers, 136 high-street stores throughout the entire UK, Ireland, and Channel Islands.

Good Vibrations, which is her autobiography, was published in 1995, and in 2007 she has released a second book, named A Woman’s Courage.
