9. Versace
Versace was founded in 1978 by legendary designer Gianni Versace, and since then, it has become an iconic Italian fashion house.
In 1978, with the help of his brother, he founded the Gianni Versace company, and later that year, the first Gianni Versace collection for women was shown in Milan.
The Versace flagship boutique was opened in 1994 in the prestigious Kurfürstendamm, Berlin.
And in September, the “Versace Signatures” exhibition opened at the Kunstgewerbemuseum.
After the death of Gianni Versace in 1997 his sister Donatella Versace, took over as creative director and his older brother Santo Versace became CEO.
