9. Tom Bleasby
Tom Bleasby rose through fame via popular singing app, Smule. It is where you can record your karaoke version of popular songs (even viral duets with some celebrities). His duet of Flashlight with the singer herself, Jessie J, caught the attention of 22 million people.
Ellen asked Tom to fly all the way from England to sing the song on her stage. Little did he know, Jessie J was there to surprise him. They sang together in an unforgettable moment.
During the take of the show, Tom was actually a contestant of X Factor. Just before the show continued to Judges’ House, Tom quit the show. It was shocking and sensational and coincidently happened just a few days after he performed with Jessie J on Ellen.
His debut on Ellen may not be his first TV appearance. But it is definitely a breaking point of his career. Tom is currently making his own music. His new album will be released this month.
