9. OK! Magazine’s Cover of Eva Longoria and Tony Parker’s Wedding: $2 million
People Magazine is there when a famous celebrity couple is getting married to take the best wedding photos for their cover.
But this time, OK! Magazine beat them and paid $2 million for the opportunity to publish exclusive, intimate photos of the wedding.
When they published the issue, they put a big title over the photo on the cover saying “Wedding of the Year”.
The magazine featured pictures from the lovely Saint-Germain-l’Auxerrois Cathedral in Paris, where the traditional Roman Catholic wedding was held.
The fairytale wedding happened in 2007, and in 2011, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker divorced. They are giving us more reasons to believe that not all fairy tales have happy endings.
