This Millionaire is Traveling the World With his Family without Spending Any Money

This millionaire is traveling the world with his family without spending any money! Want to know how is it possible? Keep reading then!

This is a family like no other, a family that has traveled the world in the past year, experiencing their bucket list ideas and living the dream, all while not spending a dime from their savings.

Just like they say on their blog, the Gee family started their life-time adventure when Garret and Jessica met while serving mission for the Church in Vladivostok, Russia.

After the missions finished they were already dating and married while attending BYU.

In 2014, Business Insider reported that Snapchat bought the mobile scanning app that Garret co-owned for $54 million.

Then Garret decided to quit working and save the money he received from the company sale. That was the point that changed all of their lives, or when he received the money, either way it changed.

After that, the family sold all of their belongings to visit all the places on their bucket list with $45,000 they’ve received from their big yard sale.

“We feel like we still have so much to learn about life and happiness before we can set up our future life and home,” says the Gee family on their blog. “That’s why we started our family bucket list. We decided as a young family that now was the time to form healthy habits and create traditions that will hopefully shape us into better people the rest of our lives.”

They started getting sponsors on social media, right before the $45,000 was about to be over, because they’ve started sharing their travels through Instagram and Youtube.

And that’s how this family is traveling for free, kind of.

Because of their success on social media, they have been able to continue checking things off their bucket list without even dipping into their savings.

“Fortunately, about this same time, our social media began gaining enough traction that hotels, airlines, and other brands began working with us,” Garret told Business Insider. “At first they were just offering us accommodations or flights in exchange for marketing exposure through our social media. But then, as our community continued to grow, they began paying us as well.

Right before we had spent through our initial $45,000, we turned the corner and became profitable.”

Now, “The Bucket List Family,” as they call themselves, continue to share their exciting travels without a single worry.

But to them, living the life they’ve dreamed includes more than just traveling the world and experiencing things for themselves.

The Gees have shared their good fortune with others by giving free LASIK surgeries to some in need and a free trip to Disneyland for a family going through difficult times, according to People.

“The feeling Garrett and I received afterwards ensured us that we had to continue this type of service throughout our lives,” Jessica told People. “We try and share and give gifts that we feel have greatly benefited our own lives.”

Their blog states, they “definitely have major goals behind [their] bucket list and travels.”

I find that pretty awesome, because they also share back, which is a rare thing nowadays.
