Floyd Mayweather Spends $4.8 million on An Hypercar
Have you heard? The famous boxer, Floyd Mayweather spends $4.8 million on an extremely limited hypercar.
According to Forbes, Mayweather is the highest-paid athlete and boxer in the world with a record of $300 million as his earnings during the past twelve months.
With that in mind, his latest purchase, a $4.8 million extremely limited hypercar, Floyd proves us all that money aren’t a problem for him.
He usually likes to show off that he has a lot of money, and his latest acquisition is a $4.8 million Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita.
The Swedish car goes from 0 to 60 mph in less than three seconds and hits a maximum speed of 250 mph.
The Hypercar was sold by Fusion Luxury Motors to Floyd, who had his eye on it starting in June and has finally made the big purchase.
By purchasing the car, Mayweather has expanded his collection of cars with his most expensive model so far.
He posed with his brand new acquisition, the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita ‘Hyper Car’ in a plush garage in America.
Koenigsegg, the company, has only produced two Trevita cars and somehow Mayweather managed to get his hands on the second, and the only car in the United States.
The brand is known as the ‘ultra-automobile’ manufacturer for the ‘super-rich’, perfectly fitting the needs of the wealthiest sportsman on the planet.
Floyd Mayweather has posted a picture with his newest purchase on his Instagram account, with the caption:
“My new 4.8 Million dollar car. $4,800,000.00 Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita supercar.”
The boxer is currently preparing for the 49th fight of his career, against Andre Berto.
And he certainly doesn’t expect to lose, as earlier this month he listed himself as the greatest boxer of all time when naming his top five boxers ever.
Speaking about himself, he said: “He’s beat more world champions than any other fighter in a shorter time and less fights than any other fighter.
“Landed punches at the highest percentage and took less punishment. He’s been world champion 18 years in five different weight divisions.”
We must remember that he gained $116 million of his play in the super-fight with Manny Pacquiao, earlier this year. With these earnings, the fight has become the richest in the history of boxing.
The hypercar isn’t the only car in Mayweather’s garage. Floyd already owns eight supercars, which include three Ferraris, three Bugattis, a Lamborghini, and a Porsche, and let’s not forget about the $47 million Gulfstream V private jet!
Mayweather’s collection is so out of control that he even has a guy that he pays to help him take care of it.
And yea, he keeps fleets of cars that are color coded at his mansions. He has a white fleet in Las Vegas, a black fleet in Los Angeles, and a silver fleet in Miami.
Plus, Mayweather recently bought and sold a $3 million plus Ferrari Enzo like it was $14 thousand Ford Fiesta.
