Aston Martin & Red Bull Released Vantage S Racing Edition Sports Cars

Would you buy Aston Martin & Red Bull’s Vantage S Racing Edition Sports Cars?

Aston Martin is often associated with luxury cars, and because of that their cars have been featured in James Bond movies. Don’t know why I really chose to talk about James Bond, but to me these cars are specially designed for a real-life James Bond.

Short after teaming up to develop the AM-RB 001 Hypercar, Aston Martin and Red Bull racing is joining forces once again, to create something magical.

Their partnership has made possible the design and creation of the Vantage S in both V8 and V12 selections which has been customized by Gaydon’s “Q by Aston Martin” bespoke division.

The cars feature some of the cosmetic tweaks inspired by the Red Bull Racing team.

Marina Blue paint derived from Red Bull Racing’s F1 livery will be worn by both cars, but customers have the possibility to ask Aston Martin to paint the car in satin Mariana Blue or gloss Tungsten Silver.

These Vantage S models will have the front grille, splitter, side strakes, and rear diffuser finished off in carbon fiber, while the brake calipers and some of the body accents will come in either red or yellow.

To make you like them more, you can request Aston Martin to engrave the signature of either Daniel Ricciardo or Max Verstappen on the side sills as well as on the final inspection plaques.

Doing so will provide the “the ultimate seal of approval,” according to the automaker’s talented PR team.

The interior of the car is accentuated with Red Bull Racing headrest embroidery, carbon fiber trim inlays, diamond-quilting and an Alcantara steering wheel complete with 12 o’clock accent stripe.

Speaking about the launch of the special edition duo, Aston Martin President & CEO, Dr. Andy Palmer said the following:

“Motorsport is and will always be a key part of Aston Martin’s DNA and both the V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing Editions bring that ethos straight to our customers.”

The Vantage S Red Bull Racing Edition will go on sale in the second quarter of 2017. Aston said to inquire at a dealership for the price, but for a bit of context, a “normal” V8 Vantage S starts around $135,000, with the V12 version jumping up to about $200,000.
