Dubai Wants to Build the First Rotating Skyscraper in the world
Would want to live in the first rotating skyscraper in the world? It looks like the city where everything is possible (I’m taking that from Las Vegas btw) is set to build a rotating skyscraper!

Everyone knows that Dubai is full of amazing views from its myriad of skyscrapers. If you are one of those people who ask for a new panorama without moving to a new home, this rotating skyscraper could be the solution for your problem.
When it was first announced in 2008 everyone was in awe, but something happened and they put it on “do it later” plan.
Now Design Architecture’s rotating skyscraper project has been rekindled. The “Dynamic Tower” will be built in four dimensions and will constantly change shape.
Leading the project is Italian firm Dynamic Architecture, led by architect David Fisher. The skyscraper, aptly named the “Dynamic Tower,” was inspired by Fisher taking in the view from the Olympic Tower in New York City in December 2004.
He noticed from a certain spot, he could see the East River and the Hudson River, covering both sides of Manhattan.
“That is when I thought to myself: “Why don’t we rotate the entire floor? That way, everybody can see the East River and the Hudson River, as well as Saint Patrick’s Cathedral!” Fisher said.
He added that his architecture philosophy includes making buildings that “adjust to life.”
According to Mr. Fisher, each apartment would be able to rotate independently to 360 degrees, with the speed adjustable.
A stationary core would be built containing the elevator, with the apartments connected onto the centrepiece.
And one amazing detail is that the project is planned to be no electricity costs, as wind turbines would be placed between the floors of each story.
“It is a green power station. It will power the entire building,” said Mr Fisher.
The tower will go into history as the world’s first pre-fabricated skyscraper, whereby individual units are built off site, including plumbing and electrical connections, before being hung from the central core.
But everything has a price, and the highly customization of your view comes to even higher prices, with as much as $30 million per unit.
Details of when the project could begin and where it may be located have not yet been given.
