Now you’ve got a reason to tell your momma to back off when you are playing video games. It turns out that playing video games can get you a $4.5 million home.
According to reports, Minecraft streamer Jordan “CaptainSparklez” Maron has recently purchased a home in Hollywood.
The three bedrooms and five bathrooms mansion overlooks L.A.’s Sunset Strip. It is a really nice place, and has great views from anywhere in the house; even the bathroom.
Real estate yenta Yolanda Yakketyyak, reports that the 23-year-old YouTube star, via trust, bought the contemporary perched on a steep, city-view hillside in L.A.
Jason Maron aka CaptainSparklez, as people know him online, has some of the most popular videos, which consist primarily of him playing Minecraft, have gathered more than 1.9 billion views, and he’s signed by Polaris, a division of Maker Studios.
Because of this, the Internet whippersnapper has had enough money to buy a multimillion-dollar house. This comes when most of 20 year olds, don’t know what to do with their lives yet.
He has purchased a place with three bedrooms and five bathrooms in a bit more than 4,100-square-feet, Variety reports.
And according to online marketing materials, the residence maintains a low, single-story profile at the front, and drops dramatically at the back to three stories, with glass-railed terraces and sky-high views.
“Living and dining rooms on the uppermost floor open via floor-to-ceiling glass sliders to a terrace with outdoor fireplace, as does the master suite that also includes a fitted walk-in closet and see-through fireplace.”
The listing was made possible because of Dustin Nicholas of Nicholas Property Group, and the buyer was represented by Joe Babajian at Rodeo Realty.
Plus, there is also a family room on the lowest level that features a sunken wet bar, and opens to a terrace with stainless steel barbecue, and party-sized spa and infinity swimming pool.
So I guess all that gaming finally paid off. Something cool: the home is located not far from where Markus Persson, the creator of Minecraft bought a $70 million home.
It seems that previous owner incorporated lots of Monopoly-inspired artwork throughout, including this painting of the Monopoly man placed over the fireplace.
With a kitchen that is sleep and contemporary, a dining room must be spacious enough to fit all the guests.
