13. Vertu Signature Touch ($20,000)
While back in 2006 Vertu launched one of the most expensive, but also arguably ugliest, phones in the world, this Vertu Signature Touch is nothing like it. Perhaps the fact that the founder of this company, Nokia, sold it in 2012 has something to do with it.
Vertu Signature Touch is the latest collection from the British manufacturer which was launched in 2014. And each of the phones was handmade in England. Vertu claims that this collection combines the finest English craftsmanship, cutting-edge technology, and exclusive service.
There are fourteen models from this collection. Each has different material of metals and leathers. And the price ranges from $10,000 to $20,000 (or even more, if you ask for more features to be added). The most expensive is the Pure Jet Red Gold model.
“The New Signature Touch Pure Jet Red Gold has solid red-gold features including the volume control keys, power key, screws, pillow trim and back plate rails. Its Grade 5 Titanium sides and back plate are coated in black PVD for the ultimate contrast. It is encased in quilted calf leather sourced from the European Alps and handcrafted in one of the region’s oldest tanneries.” – vertu.com
