The One57’s $100.5 Million Penthouse is the most expensive home ever sold in NYC
You better hold on tight because One57’s $100.5 million penthouse is New York’s new record for most expensive home ever sold. The sale was announced in 2012 May and but it was closed on December 23 2014 for the price of $100,471,452.77.
Before this major sale, the record for the most expensive home ever sold in New York was hold by Ekaterina Rybolovleva, daughter of Russian fertilizer tycoon Dimitry Rybolovlev who paid $88 million for 15 Central Park West penthouse, previously owned by Sanford Weill.
This penthouse masterpiece expands itself over 10,923 square feet spread over the 1,004-foot-tall tower’s top two floors with outstanding views over Central Park.
One57, or Carnegie 57, is a 90-story beautiful skyscraper located in Manhattan, New York. This magnificent building was the tallest residential building in the city before 432 Park avenue was constructed.
The contractor of the building Lend Lease Project Management & Construction and the developer is Extell Development Company.

The building was designed by Pritzker-Prize winning architect Christian de Portzamparc and it redefines the luxury living in the city of New York.

One57’s $100.5 million penthouse residents have their own separate entrance with an elevator bank and a lobby and access to in-room spa services, cleaning services, in room dining and catering, a concierge and even dog-walking services.
The outstanding duplex penthouse has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, marble baths, two powder room and a steam room.
