This is How a Floating Hotel Room from Japanese Theme Park Looks Like!
The floating hotel room from Japanese theme park, we’ve all been waiting for is here and we can’t even!
To ease the transport to Dutch-themed Amusement Park located four miles off the coast of Japan, these guys came up with the best idea! And you can even see the night sky!
The guys at Huis Ten Bosch theme park in Sasebo, Japan, are the brilliant minds behind the floating capsule.
The park, who recently acquired a 420,000 square-foot-island off the coast of the Nagasaki Prefecture needed a way to transport guests at their park, and found a crazy one!
Their solution was a fleet of floating capsules capped with a glass-roofed sleeping chamber that will slowly float overnight so you can see the night sky while floating to the island where all the fun is at.
The capsules will have spherical shapes and will have two stories with enough space to comfortably accommodate up to four people.
Each capsule will give you panoramic views from a bedroom covered by a convex glass roof as they float towards the destination.
On the second level, set in the middle section of the sphere, appears to be a lounge area surrounded by several windows directed towards the sea.
After boarding the capsules in the evening, you and your friends will wake up and be able to step off directly into the park.
The park wants to have everything ready by the end of the year. The spokesman of the park said they hoped the new service would draw tourists from both Japan and abroad, similarly to its launch of the Henn na “Robot Hotel” back in 2015.
According to them, a night in these floating capsules will cost between ¥30,000 and ¥40,000 ($260 to $350) per night.
More details about the system will be released as its opening approaches and we’ll be updating this story as we know more. Stay tuned!
