The Star Trek-Themed Apartment Every Fan Would Want is For Sale!

Here is the Star Trek-Themed Apartment you’ve always wanted!

Star Trek, as many of you know, is an American science fiction entertainment franchise created by Gene Roddenberry. When he created the first Star Trek, was inspired by Westerns such as Wagon Train along with the Horatio Hornblower novels and Gulliver’s Travels.

The original series debuted in 1966 and ran for three seasons on NBC. The adventures then continued in the short-lived Star Trek: The Animated Series and six feature films.

Then in 2009 the franchise went to a re-launch with a prequel to the original series set in an alternate timeline. For this film, younger versions of the crew from the original show were portrayed by a new cast.

A thirteenth theatrical feature, the next sequel to Into Darkness, has been confirmed for release in July 2016, to coincide with the franchise’s 50th anniversary.

Until then, we have the chance to enjoy this Star Trek-themed apartment. Are you looking for a new place to live in England? Then search no more, because we found one for you!

This studio flat is everything you’ve been looking for. With a budget of £70,000, you could get yourself your very own Star Trek Voyager replica home.

How cool does that sound?

The Star Trek-themed place is built into a living space of 34 square meters. The studio flat has been custom made by a real Star Trek fanatic, as the estate agent describes it.

The fanatic is currently in prison and his ex-wife is selling the flat, because she doesn’t want to be reminded of the past.

The small apartment is in Hinckley, Leicestershire and was created by Tony Alleyne. He converted the place after his wife left him.

He built it to look like the USS Enterprise first, but it was too boring for him so he went full Voyager on the flat, with the exception of the transporter control deck, which is modeled after the Next Generation era.

The windows are even blocked and constructed to look like you are looking out into space too which is a great detail to consider.

Alleyne spent about £4,000 (~$6,300 USD) on the materials he used and hid all the work by himself, which is pretty impressive.

You may have even heard about this place in the news back in 2012, when Alleyne’s wife was trying to have the apartment sold as part of the divorce settlement.

It never got sold back then, instead it is now up for sale for around $110,000.

The listing, posted on the site Right Move, reads:

“Calling all Star Trek Fans! Have you always dreamed of having your own Voyager?

The opportunity of buying this unique and extraordinary Star Trek Voyager Flat replica has arisen! Step in to the Voyager and let your imagination do the rest.

This unique property has been custom made by a real Star Trek fanatic. You won’t find any other property like this one, this is truly unique, don’t miss it! You will find all of the smallest details from the movie franchise.
