14. Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG ($221,580)
The distinctive feature of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG car is its gull-wing doors. From the front, those doors literally look like a pair of wings on top. This feature was adopted from its predecessor, Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing.
The SLS AMG was the first model from Mercedes-Benz designed in-house by AMG. SLS itself stands for Sport Light Super. Hence the name: SLS AMG.
This particular model was manufactured from 2010 to 2014 in Germany. It is powered by a 6.2-liters M159 V-8 engine with 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
There were only around 2,500 units of SLS AMG produced. A third of them are the roadster (open-top) version. The retail price starts from $221,580.
