13. Dan Dierdorf ($17 million of estimated net worth)
Dan Dierdorf played offensive tackle for St. Louis Cardinals back in the 1970s until early 1980s. He won the Pro Bowl six times. And five of them were consecutive from 1974. Now, who is better to commentate on football game than a former football player himself?
By the age of sixty seven today, Dierdorf is one of the most renowned NFL analysts. His broadcasting career began as he retired from professional football. He started with KMOX and CBS for two years back in 1984. Then he moved to ABC and worked there for more than a decade until he returned to CBS.
Dierdorf ended his NFL broadcasting career three years ago. He said that it has been a challenge for him to travel to a different NFL city every week. So, he decided to stay put in one place where he could enjoy his $17 million of estimated net worth.
That place is Michigan. Dierdorf took the job as color analyst for Michigan Wolverines football radio broadcasts. He does play-by-play on Michigan games alongside his former college teammate, Jim Brandstatter.
