Ed Sheeran is an English singer-songwriter, actor, guitarist and record producer and his current net worth is $85 million.
Born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, to John, an art curator and lecturer and Imogen, a culture publicist turned jewelry designer, two Londoners, Ed and his family moved to Framlingham, Suffolk when he was a kid.
Growing up, his father John took him to some live concerts that were the inspiration in his later musical career.
Because of his parents work, he and his family, along with his brother, traveled a lot while playing music.
Ed recalls that the album that first introduced him to music was Van Morrison’s Irish Heartbeat, while he grew up listening to the records of Bob Dylan and Eric Clapton, records that would later inspire him in his career.
From the age of four, he sang in a local church choir, as well as learning to play the guitar and began writing songs while he was enrolled at Thomas Mills High School.
