Born in Riverside, California, Don had to go throughout a lot of bad things before landing a career in radio.
He battled with alcoholism, divorced his first wife and so on. With his actual wife founded the Imus Ranch, a working cattle ranch destined for people with cancer as well as for siblings of SIDS’s victims.
Don Imus began broadcasting in Palmdale, California in 1968. But he had to have a different style, a style that not many people would like to work with.
Due to that he had to change several jobs among the years. But in 1993, Imus in the Morning became a nationally syndicated program.
