Technically there isn’t an amount of money a presidential candidate must have to enter, but since the founding of the country, the presidents have mostly come from the high-classes, so the President of the United States, must have money.
The stake was set high by George Washington, who has an estimated net worth of $525 million in today’s currency.
You must remember that we’ve talked about the richest US presidents in the past, and the net worth was set pretty high.
Only nine of the 43 U.S. Presidents have not been millionaires, among them all. By that, fact alone, Bernie Sanders who is worth $500,000 doesn’t have a chance in 2016, considering the money the other candidates have.

We begin our list with Ted Cruz whose net worth is estimated at $3.5 million. He is the first Hispanic U.S. Senator for Texas.
So far it isn’t known for sure if he has the rights to become president. The problem has nothing to do with his origins (he being Cuban), but has everything to do with his birthplace: Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
If this is going to be a problem or not it is unclear yet, but what we do know for sure is that he will have a tough time going up against all the opponents from this list.
