Demi Lovato is an American singer, songwriter, and actress, and her current net worth is $45 million.

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but raised in Dallas, to Patrick Martin Lovato, an engineer and musician and Dianna De La Garza, a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, Demi also has an older sister Dallas, a younger maternal half-sister, Madison De La Garza, and an older paternal half-sister, Amber.

Shortly after she turned two, her parents divorced, in the late summer of 1994.

She started her career as an actress in 2002, in children’s television series Barney & Friends, where she played Angela.

Her second album, Unbroken (2011), was released after she completed her treatment.

Lovato was a judge and mentor on the American version of The X Factor in 2012 and 2013.

Then in 2013 her third album followed, Demi, which opened with first-week sales of 110,000 copies.

While promoting her album she released a book titled Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year (2013).

She then returned to acting as a recurring character in Glee, and released a memoir in 2014.

Her fifth album, Confident, broke the records again and reached number two on the Billboard 200.

Today she is one of the best singer/songwriters of this generation.
