The diamond ring was gifted by Elvis Presley to the Lloyd Perry, an audience member, during the King’s concert in Ashville, North Carolina, on July 24th, 1975.
After he performed 4 songs, Elvis Presley threw his Gibson guitar into the crowd, which Lloyd Perry and another audience member next to him caught at the same time.
Lloyd Perry allowed the other man to have the guitar. Seeing that, the King removed his diamond ring and gifted directly to his stunned fan.
Sold at Affiliated Auctions Galleries, the 10-carat diamond ring features 14 round-cut diamonds, set in 14K yellow gold and weighs approximately 27.2 grams.
