N8 – Adobe Acrobat Capture – $20,000
Since its first release Adobe Acrobat Capture was expensive software, maybe the most expensive piece of software in existence at that time (1996).
But since then the market learn to accept other new products and the price of $20,000 for the software seems reasonable now.
The Capture option allows you to convert volumes of scanned material into searchable PDF files.
Because was developed by Adobe System they made the best one. Although it went through some rough changes they decided to remove it from the market for a period.
But that doesn’t make it any less expensive, that’s why is on the number eight in our top.
