9-Bills don’t last as long as we think
How are we supposed to save our money if the bills don’t last long enough? And here I am talking about dollars, of course.
The average $1 bill can last less than six years, while a $5 or $10 bill last just over four years. As for a $20 bill can last around 8 years, $50 bill has the shortest life with only 3 and half years.
Why? Because the dollar bill is the most circulated bill in the U.S and so, one-dollar bill account for 48% of the paper bills printed by the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
