NeNe began her TV career with minor roles in various shows, but her first big hit was on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, where she was part of the cast for eight seasons. In her final season, she only had a supporting role and appeared a few times, but was reportedly paid the same salary as previous seasons.
In 2013 she founded NeNe Leakes Entertainment, her own production company, through which she produced her various spin-off shows.
