Like all James Bond actors, Sean Connery got the luxury privileges especially from the two main sponsors of the movie franchise, Rolex and Aston Martin. Those brands are luxurious enough even without the words “James Bond” tagging along. So, it should come as no surprise that some of the most expensive Rolex watches and Aston Martin cars sold are from James Bond movies.
And Sean gets to own them for free. One of the cars he collects is the Aston Martin DB5. It is the fifth most expensive Aston Martin car ever sold in the world. The car first appeared in Goldfinger. Since then, it has been considered as the most beautiful car ever produced by the manufacturer and soon became many schoolboys’ dream.
Aston Martin DB5’s retail price was only $5,800 per unit. But this particular James Bond’s car was auctioned at a staggering $4.1 million in 2010.
Besides the car he owns, he is indeed living large like the 007 as well. His current house is located in Bahama, which is a tax haven for some millionaires. And all of his previous mansions were valued around $20 million or more, including those in Marbella and Nice.
