Our next eco friendly luxury fashion brand is Marni.
Marni’s founder and designer, Consuelo Castiglioni is promoting an eco-friendly style, by adding recycled materials in her jewellery line.
The Italian fashion label is environmentally conscious and used vintage vinyl records and recycled plastic bottles in the 2012 jewellery collection. Cute shapes such as flowers were moulded out of the records and plastic, and voilà! Eco-friendly jewellery right there!
The designer credits her team of artisans in Columbia, the ones creating the beautiful and unique designs.
But eco-friendly does not mean wallet-friendly, at all. If you want to buy such one of a kind jewellery be prepared to pay at least $400.
