McConaughey is an actor who started playing in movies in 1993, when he had his first role in Dazed and Confused.
He had different roles until the early 2000s when the actor began to star in romantic comedies such as The Wedding Planner and How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
Then he decided a change is always welcomed and moved to those types of roles, for which he wouldn’t be considered for. Here a good example is Dallas Buyers Club.
For which he was only reportedly paid $200,000 considering that the movie had a budget of $5 million.
