9. Christmas Sangria
Sangria is actually a simple recipe. The real work is in the wine selection and choosing which fruits to use.
There are multiple types of seasonal Christmas Sangria, such as Winter Sangria (orange juice, lemon, triple sec, lime, red wine, sugar, cinnamon sticks), Winter Fruit Sangria (apples, dry red wine, club soda, brandy, fresh orange juice and sugar), Mulled Wine Sangria (sugar, club soda, fresh orange juice, spices, merlot, strawberries).
We recommend the Cranberry and Rosemarry White Christmas Sangria.
Ingredients:
1) 1 granny smith apple;
2) 1 Braeburn apple;
3) 1 heaping cup fresh cranberries;
4) 1 large sprig rosemary;
5) 1 bottle Pinot Crigio;
6) 1/2 cup white grape juice;
7) 1 can club soda;
8)1/4 cup sugar.
First, you need to chop up the apples and add all the ingredients in a large jar. It’s very important to mix well the composition so that the sugar fully dissolves.
Place the jar in the refrigerator to chill and, during this time, the sugar will fully dissolve and the rosemary will infuse your drink. It takes about 15 minutes.
Don’t forget to share a glass with your family and friends!
