Gisele Bündchen’s new coffee table book will be priced at $700.
The highest-paid supermodel, a title she has been holding for nine years, is releasing a coffee table book in honor of her twenty-year career.
The book is “personally curated and designed by Gisele in collaboration with Giovanni Bianco”.
Published by Taschen, the book will feature over 300 photographs, as well as “tributes from Gisele’s closest friends, family, and fashion leaders, who shed light on how and why she has become one of the greatest models of all time.”
And if you want to purchase the supermodel’s book, you’ll have to pay US$700.
Compared to other coffee table book’s rate of about seven cents a page, this 536 page-book will have a 77-cent-per-page experience.
But not every coffee table book has been on the cover of thousands of magazines. Gisele’s career earnings are estimated at US$430 million.
Now that she is retired from the runway since April, she has to make money one way or another.
She even makes nearly five times more than her husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, according to Forbes.
Although she is still the highest paid model in the industry, according to Forbes, Gisele’s book will be available in November from Taschen, with an exclusive run of just 1,000 copies.
The first 100, known as the “Art Edition,” are extra special, as they come with a W magazine print of Bündchen from 2005 signed by Juergen Teller — a package that will set you back a cool $2,000.
The other 900 copies, or the “Collector’s Edition,” will be numbered and signed by Bündchen herself, and retail for a slightly more reasonable $700.
Titled “Gisele”, the coffee table book will have more than 300 photographs shot by world-famous photographs like Irving Penn, Juergen Teller, Inez & Vinoodh, Corinne Day and David LaChapelle.
The book was personally curated by Gisele, in collaboration with Creative Director Giovanni Bianco.
Photographer Steven Meisel is also credited as a contributing author. Alongside these images are personal anecdotes from the 35-year-old Brazilian model’s family, friends and fashion industry colleagues.
