12. Plane Crashes
Tragic accidents are devastating. Even one single casualty can tear us down. Imagine that happened to a few more people or one nation’s hero. The grief is beyond what words can describe.
On May 19th, sixty six people were killed in a plane crash. They were on board the EgyptAir Flight 804. It was on a trip from Paris to Cairo. Investigation indicated that the plane broke up in midair after a fire, sending it into the Mediterranean Sea.
Another plane crash took place just recently, on December 7th. Forty eight people were on board the Pakistan International Airlines flight 661. One of them was Junaid Jamshed, a singer turned preacher. The plane crashed north of Islamabad due to engine’s technical glitch.
