Think of two options that are both fine with you and then offer them as a choice to someone you’re trying to convince.
Why does this work? Well, they’ll feel bound by the options you’ve given them. Plus, they will have the feeling that they have the power to choose what they want, so they are in charge of everything that is about to happen.
So, remember that you should never impose something to a person, but rather make them believe that they have control over the decision. But, in fact, you have control over the options.
After all, people love their egos and you should know how to use that in your favor.
