To celebrate 20 years of collaboration with the James Bond films, Omega has launched its latest collaborative piece. It is called Seamaster Aqua Terra Master Co-Axial 41.5mm.
The collaboration of the two of them started back in 1995’s Goldeneye when the Bond character was played by Pierce Brosnan.
By continuing their collaboration, they marked the arrival of Spectre in the autumn. For that Omega has produced a 15,007 -piece, limited edition-series of its famous Seamaster Aqua Terra 150Mm.
The piece is complete with a magnetic resistance to 15, 000 gauss and it features the spy’s famous coat of arms on its dial.
While we are waiting for the next James Bond to hit the big screens, we can dream about this watch.
As we said, Omega it is known for making watches special for the James Bond franchise. Ever since 1995 they introduced new and innovative pieces for the character.
We know that James Bond is a famous character known for many attributes such as his expensive Aston Martin cars, his pricy tuxedos and fancy guns, but the watches he wears are also important – and expensive I might add.
For example, in Casino Royal and Quantum of Solace, the Seamaster Planet Ocean took over the role of the Seamaster 300M and in Skyfall, the character started wearing the Seamaster Aqua Terra next to the Planet Ocean.
A new watch by Omega for the new James Bond- Spectre– wasn’t in play, but they surprised everyone with the new Omega Aqua Terra Watch for James Bond.
For the making of this watch, Omega drew their inspiration from the Bond family coat of arms and put it in the beautiful dark blue dial of the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M.
Plus, the same heraldic device is brought up on the tip of the yellow second hand which also features the special coat of arms.
Visible through the sapphire case back, its oscillating weight has been shaped to resemble a gun barrel. This way, it makes it more 007-ish.
Besides a yellow second hand, you will also find the minute ring to have yellow numerals as well as ‘Seamaster’ and the ‘> 15,007 gauss’ writing on the dial.
You might think that limited edition label shouldn’t have been there, but you can never underestimate the world-wide demand of the James Bond watch from Omega.
So in that respect, those 15,007 pieces might be sold out faster than you think.
The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Master Co-Axial has a diameter of 41,5mm and just like the previous limited edition James Bond watches.
