This antique masterpiece is a mahogany 6-shell desk-book case.
It was made for Nicholas Brown, in 1760. The secretary desk is 112 inches high.
The question is, just how much value can be attached to such an item. Incredibly beautiful with an outstanding design for the time period but you’ve got to really be into desks to pay over $11 million for one!
