To improve circulation and heart health, they’ve created a mattress with multiple layers which have the best effect for your legs.
The company has spent the last decade making every detail perfect of their mattress, which costs $145,000.

The typical spring mattress varies in price, but the average cost is $1,520. The luxury mattress market starts at $13,000 and soars to $140,000 per sleeping pad.
If you buy this mattress and keep it for 25 years, sleeping an average of eight hours a night, it equates to about $2.5 per hour of the best sleep.
Each mattress is made by one handyman at the company’s headquarters in Köping, Sweden.
Hästens Vividus Mattress is heat retardant and allergen free although that it looks like any other, it is made from high quality materials including Swedish pine for the fame, soundproof flax, cotton, wool, and horsehair, over a ten-week period.
The Vividus springs are strung together with string in the traditional way rather than being clipped together, “which means they move differently and have a slightly different feel,” says Newell. Flax is added between the springs to ensure a completely silent bed, too.
And, finally, the distinctive checked Hästens upholstery is, he says, a matter of pride for its customers. “In Sweden, if your guest sees a blue and-white-checked bed in your house, they know you’re a person with taste and refinement who understands Swedishness and hand-built quality.”
The mattress itself is made of alternating layers of steel springs, soundproof flax, cotton, wool, and horsehair. The horsehair is treated with special care, and is braided then un-braided to create a signature bounce in the mattress. The process involves quite a bit of science.
Think about how great your sleep will be if you invest in a good mattress. Some of the benefits of healthy sleep, according to health.com are: improved memory, life expectancy, fostered creativity, weight loss, less stress, safer driving, and other benefits for your mind and body.
