Did you know that Rhossili Bay is the first beach to be awarded Britain’s Best Beach by TripAdvisors Travellers’ Choice for the second year running, not to mention the 3rd best beach in Europe and 9th best in the world!?
When you think about it, the title is not in vain. You get to see 3 miles of sandy shore, which is encompassing one of Gower’s most famous landmarks, watersports, and beautifully fine golden sand.
It has incomparable and best views on the area which you can enjoy from the many walking routes, which feature the beach, Worm’s Head and the cliffs.
Lucky people can see some basking seals or dolphins playing in the surf.
The beach is accessed via steps from the small village of Rhossili.
Another thing about this awesome beach is the fact the famous TV series “Doctor Who” had its set on this beach.
