8. Arfaq Hussain’s V2 Cufflinks: $39,007
We gave the eighth place to Arfaq Hussain’s V2 Cufflinks. These luxurious accessories were designed by Affaq Hussian, the former design director of London-based House of Gianni Vive Sulman.
With only seven V2 made, these jewellery feature a golden crown decked with sapphires and diamonds laid on top of the swords.
The striking double swords base is made from 18-carat yellow and white gold, and the title of one of the most expensive cufflinks is not in vain.
If you thought that was enough, think again because these cufflinks have a story to tell.
The pair were privately sold to the US singer, Michael Jackson and MJJ Productions for $39,750 in Bucharest, Romania, in November 1996.
Michael Jackson wore the V2 as part of his iconic pseudo-military outfit. He wore the expensive V2 during the HIStory World Tour.
