8Louis Vuitton Campana’s Maracatu Furniture – Price: $51.500
The Campana’s Maracatu furniture is actually a folding travel cabinet, a concept created by the Campana Brothers, Fernando and Humberto Campana from Brazil.
Released as a part of ‘Objets Nomades’ series, Louis Vuitton Maracatu hanging travel cabinet is made from leather offcuts from Louis Vuitton workshops.
The item comes in several colors.
‘Each one is different. We named them after the fruits of Brazil – each one has the name of a fruit, because the first idea was that it would be like a fruit hanging from a tree.’, said Fernando Campana.
The ‘Objets Nomades’ also includes a hammock, a folding stool and a case for the folding stool (made by Swiss design trio ‘Atelier Oi’), a lamp (made by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby), a table (made by Christian Liaigre), a lamp with LED bulbs (made by Nendo), and a stool (made by Patricia Urquiola).
