12. Dupont Samurai Prestige ($66,000)
S.T. Dupont has been manufacturing luxury items since late 1800s. The French company puts its brand on handbags, lighters, and of course: pens. This Samurai Prestige collectible pen comes with a matching lighter. It makes this a very valuable collection.
This collectible set was designed to honor the noble Japanese samurai. Hence, the samurai name. The pen is made of solid rose gold. Diamonds are encrusted to add more of its luxury. To top that, black leather trim and silk ribbon are added to create Samurai-like accent.
Some people say words can be sharper than a blade. With this pen, your written words will be a thousand times more than a samurai sword, literally in terms of price. There were only 20 of this set made and each of them was sold at $66,000 each.
To wrap this collection up, S.T. Dupont added a small version of katana (samurai’s sword) which you can use as a letter opener. What a way to tear your monthly bills!
